SERVING AT UPBC

We always have a committed staff of Christian volunteers who collectively have many years of camp experience. We are always looking for new people to come alongside and serve with us. Check out the opportunities listed below and let us know where you'd be interested in helping out!

Summer Staff Interns

Young adults (ages 16-22) have an opportunity to participate in the internship program for either 4 or 8 weeks. 1st half interns serve from Day Camp 1 through Girls Camp. 2nd half interns serve from Boys Camp through Family Camp II. Full Summer interns serve from Day Camp 1 to Family Camp II. Exact dates vary year to year, so check out the Dates & Rates page for specific details.

In addition to work training, group leadership training, and developing a heart of service, our interns work hard to keep the day-to-day camp programs running smoothly. They work on projects such as carpentry, mowing the lawns, preparing and serving meals, housekeeping, painting, roofing, or organizing group games for kids during family camps. Most also serve as lifeguards on the waterfront or as ropes course instructors. It is a unique experience that can help to shape the life of a servant forever, as lasting character and lifelong friendships are built. Please prayerfully consider if God may want you to serve at UPBC in this way.

If you're interested in serving next summer, email Todd Henderson at todd@upbiblecamp.org after January 1st to request an internship application. Summer Staff internship applications and references will be accepted between January 1st and January 31st, 2017. If accepted, interns must register for the UPBC Summer Staff internship training and pay a $40 registration fee.
