MERGE YOUTH PROGRAMS
MERGE programs provide fun, meaningful events for middle and high school students in our local community—helping them build healthy, encouraging relationships.
MERGE events are run by UPBC's Coordinator of Local Outreach, Jeff Martin.
MERGE TUBING NIGHT
Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:30-8:30pm
MERGE Tubing Night is for church youth groups to join UPBC at the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming. This is a great opportunity for adults and teens from your church to make some memories together, for students to invite a friend, and to have loads of winter fun with other middle school and high school students from around the central U.P.
Just $3 per person covers use of the tube slide and dinner in the warming lodge!
Contact Jeff Martin if you’re planning to attend or have further questions: email@example.com
PURITY & HOLINESS RETREAT
March 22-24, 2019 · $20 Registration Fee - $70 Camp Fee · Co-ed, grades 9-12
We are created for relationships. First with God and second with each other. Come and explore how the best relationships are formed, maintained and made vibrant.
Required adult leaders: Each group is required to bring one female adult leader for every 1-8 girls and one male adult leader for every 1-8 boys. Adult leaders do not need to register online, but instead should email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know the church group name and the adult leaders who will be attending with the group.
We ask that each adult leader pay the registration fee only ($20), which is payable at the time of the retreat.
If any students wish to attend individually, we will make our best effort to accommodate those students by assigning them to a group leader. For more information, please contact the Registrar at email@example.com or 906-346-6165.
MERGE FALL RETREAT
The MERGE Youth Retreat at U.P. Bible Camp is designed to help young people start the school year strengthened in their faith and grounded in God’s Word. It’s held in late September, for students in grades 7-12.
The retreat is built around four chapel sessions that include Christ-centered worship, engaging Bible teaching, and carefully planned small group discussion that challenges teens to apply the teaching to their own lives. You will also have all of the fun and excitement that comes with being at camp: team games, campfires, the adventure challenge course, and making memories with old and new friends!
