Youth Camp registration opens on March 1 @ 9:00pm EST.
Moose Trails is a program for girls ages 14-17 who are seeking a backpacking adventure on Isle Royale. Our mission is for intentional discipleship to take place while we’re experiencing life together on the trail.
Isle Royale National Park is a well kept secret; an isolated patch of rugged wilderness found in northern Lake Superior. This summer we’re excited to offer 8 girls and 2 leaders from UPBC the opportunity to backpack on the island.
This week-long backpacking trip provides campers with unforgettable memories—riding to the island on the Isle Royale Queen, living out of a backpack, watching for moose, pushing physical limits, making lasting friendships, and celebrating the joys of each day over supper.

OUR DIRECTORS
Armila Aeilts and Ruby Watson share a love for the outdoors, both attend Vine Church in Madison, Wisconsin, and have each served at UPBC — Ruby has directed our A14 program and served on kitchen staff and Armila has counseled at A14 and Serve 15.
Ruby has a heart for adventure camps, at which the smaller group size lends itself to deep conversations and lasting connections. She hopes gathering a few ladies to explore the trails will leave lasting memories as it did for her when she attended UPBC's Bear Camp and CROSS Trails, both outdoor adventure programs.
Armila has always loved spending time outside. She marvels at the bounty and beauty of God's creation and delights in inviting others to do the same. Armila teaches environmental science at Madison College and has backpacked on the Appalachian Trail, the Ice Age Trail, the Grand Canyon, and...Isle Royale!
